Summer 2 Week 1
As you are aware, since the 23rd March, life for everyone living in the UK has changed quite dramatically. The UK was put into lockdown which meant that schools had to close to most pupils, adults started to work from home and people were only allowed to leave homes for limited reasons. During this period of lockdown, people have had different experiences; some may have had a positive experience, and some may have found the situation quite challenging. Recently, the government has started to ease some restrictions, one of which is the partial reopening of schools.
Therefore, the Picture News this week is asking the question ‘What have you learned about yourself from your lockdown experience?’. You may want to spend time reflecting on what you have achieved, what you have enjoyed and what difficulties you have faced.
Below are the resources you may wish to use this week. Under our Home Learning section on the school website, we have included some additional resources to support you and your child. The resources chosen, are age-appropriate and may help to explain what Coronavirus is, in a child friendly way.
