PSHE at Eastbrook

“Do not judge me by my successes, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again,”

Nelson Mandela

At Eastbrook, we believe that PSHE helps pupils develop the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to keep themselves healthy, happy and safe throughout their life.

Why do we promote PSHE?

  • Increases self-esteem.
  • Builds resilience.
  • Develops empathy with others.
  • Encourages healthy lifestyles.
  • Helps form healthy relationships.
  • Encourages respect for self and others.
  • Supports well-being.

Eastbrook provides a broad curriculum that promotes the spiritual, moral, mental and physical development of our school community, and prepares our children for life’s opportunities, responsibilities and experiences.

Core Eastbrook Learning Value: Composure

To reflect upon what’s good for ourselves and others, making sensible informed choices.
