The children have finished their activities, had lunch and are now heading back to school. The estimated arrival time is still 3.00pm although we have asked fro an update when they get to Steyning.
The chidren had a great night's sleep (eventually!) They have all had breakfast, packed their bags (hopefully keeping the dirty clothes separate from the cleaner ones) and are enjoying their first activity of the morning. We forgot to mention how funny some of them were last night with their joke telling. There were some very confident 'performers'! We are expecting the coach to back at school at about 3pm and will keep you informed, by text, if this changes.
Sorry this post is a bit late but the author (Mrs Sherlock) has only just got back from being at Lodge Hill. Everyone was having a great time playing a range of outdoor games in the most beautiful setting and hazy sunshine. The children had sausages and mash for dinner which was almost as popular as the pizza and chips they tucked into the previous night. All the children are very proud of the different activities they have completed. They are starting to get a bit tired so hopefully they will all have a good night's sleep. More activities are planned for the morning.
The children have enjoyed a ham baguette for lunch and are now taking part in their afternoon activities. Mr Button's group are currently scaling the climbing wall.
The children were up and ready for breakfast bright and early! They all very excited about the activities today: tunnelling, go karting, abseiling, low ropes and team building.
Everyone has had a great day and the children have really challenged themselves by trying all the different activities. Mrs Sutcliff's group got very messy in the tunnelling activity! The children are all in their pyjamas having a hot chocolate before bed. Mrs Sherlock is looking forward to seeing everyone after school tomorrow.
The afternoon's activities went very well. Everyone is just about to have dinner and then a game of rounders is going to be played in the sunshine.
The children have arrived safely at Lodge Hill and have already enjoyed their first lunch. They are getting ready to start a range of activities. We will keep you informed as the holiday progresses.
