After the excitement of arriving at school, getting our hoodies and preparing for our journey we boarded the coach, ready to travel to Windmill Hill! When we arrived, we unloaded all of our luggage (there was lots!) and enjoyed our packed lunches. Luckily our rooms were ready so we could unpack and make sure we were settled in.

We spent the afternoon getting used to our surroundings and met our PGL leaders – they were so much fun and had us singing songs wherever we went! We spent some time playing games in the glorious sunshine.

After a while we made our way to the dining hall for dinner – it was delicious! We had burgers or mac'n'cheese - both were delicious and we topped it off with apple crumble and custard for pudding.

After dinner, we took part in a PGL tournament where we went into the sports hall and had to complete challenges in our groups. It was great fun. Finally, we went back to our rooms to get ready for lights out. A fantastic first day!
