  • Happy New Year


    Welcome back to all our families. We hope you had an enjoyable festive break.

  • Christmas Jumper Day


    Thank you to all those who supported us in raising funds for Save the Children's Christmas Jumper Day appeal. Please see main article for photos from the day.

  • Spring Term 2018


    We'd like to remind everyone that the Spring term for pupils starts on Friday 5th January. Staff will be in school on the 4th for in-service  training. We hope you have a lovely Christmas and look forward to welcoming you back.

  • Y3 Wins John Lewis Competition


    Year Three took part in an art competition organised by the local Chichester branch of John Lewis. Nine of our children got through to the finals and we also had the overall winner.

  • Christmas Performances


    It's that time of year again, all key stages across the school are practising their Christmas plays. Songs are being sung, words are being said time and time again and head dresses are being made. Here are the dates for the 2017 Christmas productions:

    Tuesday 5th December         1.45pm      Key Stage 2 
    Wednesday 6th December  9.15am       Key Stage 2

  • Reverse Advent Calendar


    This advent, Eastbrook are participating in Brighton and Hove City Mission's Reverse Advent Calendar appeal for the Brighton Food Bank to help those in crisis.  Please consider sending in even just one item to the school collection bins for this very worthwhile charity appeal. For ideas of what to send in please see main article or download the letter from the November letters page.

  • Children in Need 2017


    Thanks to all of those who contributed to our collection for this years BBC Children in Need appeal. We raised £350.

  • Parents Consultation Meetings


    For children in Years 1 - 6, parents consultation meetings will be held on Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th November between 3.30 and 6.00pm. For children in EYFS, RNL parent consultations will be held on Wednesday 15th November between 3.30 and 5.30pm and on Thursday 16th November between 9.00am and 4.00pm. Parents of children in RMP their consultation meetings will be held on Tuesday 14th November between 9.00am and 6.00pm.

    Parents of children in EYFS and KS1 can sign up for appointments on the sheets outside each classroom.

    Parents of children in KS2 please return the slip on the bottom of the letter sent home in book bags to your child's class teacher.

  • Fantastic Fireworks!


    A huge thank you to all those who turned out to support the Eastbrook fireworks on Thursay 2nd November. 

  • Books, books, books!


    With financial help from the Parent Teacher Association, Mr Trower (literacy lead)  has been able to purchase approximately £1000 worth of new Oxford Reading Tree books for classes across the school.
